As a finishing touch to his keynote at GDC this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios President Phil Harrison offered a few bars from another PlayStation 3 title: SongStar. From what we saw, SongStar is a singing title which supports downloadable content (including new songs and maybe new game modes), as well as adding pics and videos of your SongStar party using the EyeToy camera peripheral. The game is straight out of SCE Europe's SingStar franchise, which is already five-games deep on PS2. Will Songstar be the next generation's answer to Karaoke Revolution? We'll have to wait to see more.
